About this job
The Busser is in charge of maintaining the quality and ambiance of the restaurant during operation hours. The Busser is responsible for identifying all sanitation and aesthetic maintenance in the front of the house. They ensure that all tables, fixtures, bathrooms and floors are cleaned and maintained throughout the course of his shift. All utensils, plates, cups and trash removed in an expedited fashion and tables properly sanitized for the next guest.
CORE RESPONSIBILITES
• The Busser is responsible for assisting the wait staff to provide exceptional customer service
• Proper trash disposal
• Removing dirty dishes & utensils from tables and take to the dishwashing station
• Assist Dishwasher with keeping area clean and helping to put away clean dishes and utensils
• Keeping ice stations full
• Proper sanitizing of tables
• Proper table set up
• Ensuring guest and staff safety by keeping floors clean and dry – follow proper safety procedures for spills – don’t leave a spill, must have Wet Floor signs visible, dry immediately.
• Any other duties requested by Management
