Line Cook

Job Summary and Mission:

This position builds on the company and employee's success by providing an exceptional culinary experience to our patrons. We are looking for line cooks, both professional and aspiring, to prepare food with precision and consistency to the exact menu specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and return rate. The line cook will assist the management team in maintaining the company's standards and policies through daily tasks such as, but not limited to, creating meal portions, cleaning and preparing food, cooking meals and keeping a sanitized work area. We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry or people that want to begin their journey in the food service industry.  Candidates must be committed to continuing their knowledge and skill in the culinary industry with a willingness to grow with a small, upcoming company.

Job Requirements:

• A desire to learn various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work some holidays and weekends
• Must obtain a Texas Food Handler Certification 

Compensation:  

All line cooks will receive a starting wage of $14.00/hour. Kitchen Shift Lead Positions pay $18/hr.
