Purpose of Role

The JD Edwards Functional Expert is directly responsible for supporting our JD Edwards ERP system. The candidate must have good interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be technically adept.


. Requirements:

Principal Accountabilities

• The JD Edward Functional Expert will participate in the configuration, enhancement, maintenance and support of Red Collar Pet Foods JD Edwards release 9.2 system with a primary focus on the Order to Cash integrated process

• Experience in the manufacturing and other distribution modules preferred but not required

• Implement JDEdwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 at headquarter operations in Franklin, TN

• Support implementation of JDE manufacturing at five plants (CA, OK, OH, SC)

• Primary responsibilities include day-to-day end user problem resolution after systems and processes are implemented, meeting with end-users to understand functional requirements, writing functional requirement documents to be used, testing system functionality, and training

• Co-Leader for ERP JD Edwards implementation project

• Design and configure EnterpriseOne to enable Red Collar business processes

o Including personalizations leveraging UX1 capabilities

• Test configuration and enhancements in Red Collar use cases

• Analyze issue trends and make recommendations about system enhancements

• Work with end users to understand business system requirements.

• Where necessary document business requirements in functional requirement documents and enhancement specifications

• Establish practices and procedures that work toward the continuous improvement of the requirements gathering and documenting process

• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and health of the system and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.

• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to resolve complex issues while retaining a strong customer service focus

• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards


Key Functional Skills Required

• JD Edwards release 9.0 or above Expert in 1 of the following areas

o Order to Cash Distribution

o Material and Production Planning

o Production Execution - Manufacturing at multiple sites

• Expert in Distribution modules: - Preferred

o Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Procurement , Advanced Pricing, Transportation Management

• Intermediate to advanced level / knowledge of MS Excel

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills particularly in the areas of conflict resolution and ability to interact well with others

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal & external customers

• Ability to travel to support rolling out JD Edwards at plants

• Ability to research system issues, formulate solutions, and present solutions to end-users

• Leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business improvements

• Ability to work on multiple projects and balance competing priorities


Key Experiences

• Bachelors Degree

• 5 years JD Edwards 9.0 or above

• 2 years Implementation support JD Edwards

• Experience migrating from SAP to JD Edwards 9.0 or above preferred

• Knowledge of business processes in order management, warehousing & logistics

• Expert in Distribution modules:

o Sales Order Management

o Inventory Management

o Procurement

o Advanced Pricing

o Transportation Management

• CPG EDI processing and CPG Trade Management (Pricing) experience

• Integration experience with RFSmart or another data collection system for pick, pack and ship operations


Education

• Bachelors Degree

o Business Administration, Computer science, Finance, Engineering
