Quality Inspector

Job Description: 

In this role, you will inspect parts against customer specifications while working with our Quality Managers. In addition, you will: 



* Accurately perform hardness and other tests and records results as required. 
* Perform calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule. 
* Perform audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc. as needed or defined by procedure and/or schedule. 
* May be required to complete conformance certificates and/or other related paperwork. 
* Promote safety and good housekeeping practices 
* This position will allows for cross training and development of additional skills 



We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications: 



* Education - High school diploma or equivalent 
* Preferred - 1 to 3 years' experience in metal components, as an inspector, or working in the heat treating industry 
* Must have a working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology 
* Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints/specifications, be detail oriented and possess manual dexterity 
* May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends 
* Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language 
* Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required
