Our client is working on the region’s most exciting and largest projects. The ideal candidate will possess two or more years of recent experience in the civil construction/services industry or related field.

Currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for an amazing opportunity with Central Oregon’s leading civil construction services company. Our client is working on the region’s most exciting and largest projects. The ideal candidate will possess two or more years of recent experience in the civil construction/services industry or related field.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Project Accountant – Civil Construction
- Support the Project Manager and all project deliverables through to execution
- Review and implement full scope of budgets for projects
- Organize and track invoices/costs to ensure proper job costing
- Manage the entire change order work requirements
- Maintain and responsible for accurate and timely contract submittals
- Maintain and responsible for creating and issuing Subcontractors’ contracts
- Monitor contractors’ activities and progress
- Attend pre-bids, pre-jobs and project meetings
- Prepare price change orders and project reports and documentation
- Review and evaluate job costs and budget with accounting team
- All other duties assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CEM, Engineering, Math, or other relevant technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of related civil construction experience in supervisory role
- Advanced math, writing, verbal, listening, emailing and texting skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Salary: $53,000 to $56,000/year
