A Leading International Logistics Company located in Torrance, CA has an immediate need for an Ocean Import Coordinator. Our services ensure that our customer goods move from production through the supply chain to the end user. We provide global transportation services via air, ocean, truck, rail and multimodal solutions.
Responsibilities:
Organize incoming documents to insure required documents are received
Track / trace all incoming vessels containing client shipments coming into the United States
Answer incoming calls, send and respond to incoming and outgoing e-mails
Preparing all documentation for US Customs arrival and clearance
Proactively provide shipment status and notify customers of any delays regarding arrival, delivery or dispatch of shipments.
Dealing with multiple customs brokers for freight clearance
Coordinate door to door deliveries
Handle all billing and collect correct charges
Coordinate freight release by submitting required bills of lading and freight payments
Work closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers
