SOS Security LLC has immediate job openings for Unarmed Security Officers in the Dade and Broward County areas.
Available shifts:
11:00 pm - 7:00 am *Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday*
The Security Officer will be responsible for using corporate protocol to greet facility guests, assigning the proper security badge to each visitor, monitoring the interior and exterior of the facility, checking to make sure that certain doors are locked when they are supposed to be and reporting any suspicious activity immediately.
Job Duties and Tasks: · Patrol (industrial and commercial) premises · Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons · Write reports of daily activities and irregularities Skills Needed: · Monitoring · Active Listening · Critical Thinking Abilities Needed: · Selective Attention · Written and Oral Comprehension · Speak, read and write in English Knowledge and Experience Required: · Public Safety and Security · Customer and Personal Service Education and License Required: · High school diploma/GED · Valid Security License Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States
Should be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law
Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
