Warehouse Worker-Sit Down Forklift/Order Selector
Temp to hire $11 to $13/hr to start

General Purpose
To perform various warehouse functions including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and maintaining stock neatly in the warehouse.

General Purpose
To perform various warehouse functions including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and maintaining stock neatly in the warehouse.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Unloading inbound deliveries and verifying product to bills of lading
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Prepares sales orders for shipment to customers from Pick List and shipping documents provided by the Supply Chain Coordinator
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting consignment stock used for shipment to submit to Accounting
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, loading dock area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop, as required. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Attend weekly safety tool box meetings
- Perform any other tasks as requested by management from time to time
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Inventory, equipment care may be required
- Ability to learn product knowledge

- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Sufficient mental and manual dexterity required to perform job properly.
