Outside Sales – Technical, Industrial

$85,000 min. expected in first year, plus company vehicle, gas card, cell phone. Based in Memphis area; serving markets in West Tennessee or Arkansas (your territory).

Looking for a driven, disciplined, self-starter, to represent a leading distributor of state-of-the-art, high-end, CNC machine tools.

Your Core Duties:

• Develop and manage relationships with key accounts through aggressive prospecting and networking activities
• Learn and Develop a deep understanding of the products and services we offer
• Stay current on the newest advancements in machining technology and industry news through diligent reading of trade publications (keep YOUR saw sharpened)
• Maintain strong and fruitful relationships with current customers
• Utilize Salesforce.com to maximize sales call routing, information gathering, task follow-up, and pipeline management
• Become a Certified Machine Tool Sales Engineer (CMTSE), if not already certified

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years’ outside sales experience in industrial or manufacturing solutions industry
• Metrics-driven “sales hunter”, with ability to manage & document activities in system
• Self-driven & disciplined – used to getting up in the morning and getting after it on a daily basis; used to EFFECTIVELY working remotely, with little supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively negotiate & more sales process forward
• Very strong prospecting, presentation & networking skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but awesome, proven work history is the main thing
• Ability to work both independently, and in a collaborative environment
• Organized, with strong attention to detail
• Drug-free; background check & MVR (driving record) required
