Manufacturing Engineer 1
Partnered with a global manufacturer in Charlotte, NC seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Research, develop, and implement technical solutions relating to optical fabrication applications including processes, tooling and equipment
Modify, automate, and improve existing solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization
Perform operator or peer training as needed
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions on process failures
Effectively manage projects through the multiple life cycle phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control, and Closure
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
Related technical fields will be considered
Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in 3D CAD packages, such as Autodesk Inventor
Proven track record of collaborating with multiple disciplines and personalities
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with data analysis software, such as Minitab
