Machine Operator, may work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
1st pays: 10
2nd pays 10.10
3rd pays 10.50
Must be able to stand on feet, handle fumes in air, temp to perm positions.
7am-3pm
3pm -11pm
11pm-7am
SUMMARY
Tends one or more machine tools, special purpose machines
Will operate machine to create metal work pieces to specifications
Must Maintain Quality Standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
(Other duties may be assigned)
Lifts work piece manually and secures work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Adds coolant to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of coolant.
Cleans machine and machined parts.
Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.
Must possess mechanical aptitude
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using weights and measurements.
