We are looking for an individual who can penetrate hospital accounts in the New York / Massachusetts / New Hampshire territory and professionally promote our services to healthcare professionals. This person must be able to work independently with a high degree of sales proficiency.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory business plans
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals while maintaining a budget using good judgment
  • Develop superior product knowledge and effectively consult with hospital pharmacies to meet their needs

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Business, or related field; Pharmacists are encouraged with sales experience
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device experience
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills, features and benefits selling, and customer service
  • Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public, medical staff, and other medical professionals
  • Ability to leverage and manage multiple sales resources both internal and external 

Typical Working Conditions:

  • Employee must provide own method of transportation, which will include daily visits to various businesses
  • Employees will receive a car allowance dependent upon the state they will be working in and the assigned territory
  • Territory travel to multiple states is required often
  • This is an outside sales position
  • Employee must be able to sit in front of computer to perform administrative tasks associated with managing a territory
  • Employee must exhibit professional appearance and conduct at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience calling into a hospital setting
  • Ability to travel 50%+
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
