The Pharmacy Care Technician  is responsible for handling all outbound calls to patients dealing with their prescription and lab work results

Primary Responsibilities:

• Calling patients to assist with refills for home infusion medications
• Coordinate new patient orders
• Coordinate deliveries of IV medication
• Assist Pharmacist as needed to support the management of clinical work
• New prescription data entry
• Coordinate maintenance and Durable medical equipment for patient treatment plan
• Adhering to all state and federal pharmacy regulations, in scope of practice for pharmacy technician

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician in any state
• National Pharm Tech Certification
• Proficient in aseptic technique and intravenous solution compounding
• Knowledgeable with regards to the proper use and handling of hazardous medications (Compounds and handles hazardous medications in accordance with established guidelines and regulations (i.e. USP 797)
