Our client is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Traffic Agent to join their team!
This is a TEMP TO HIRE position. Ideal for those not currently working.
Location: Near Oceanside, NY
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: containers/shipments tracking, tracing, and updating shipments while developing and maintaining good relationships with carriers, truckers, customers and warehouses, etc.; Schedule truckers to pick up or deliver ocean containers to customer in a timely manner.
Requirements: At least two – five years of prior ocean import traffic experience; Excellent customer service skills; Great attention to detail; Ability to prioritize tasks and outstanding time management.
