Well-established company that focuses on building and designing hospitality venues seeks a Service Manager.
Location: near Syosset, NY
The Service Manager serves as an integral part of the team's success by establishing relationships with vendors, customers, and coworkers. This person will assist with all customer service related issues and logistics, ensuring customer expectations are met, while communicating with your team.
• Contact and schedule service companies when issues arise on current and past sales
• Follow up with service company and customer until completely resolved
• Arrange, coordinate and schedule deliveries for all jobs and single shipments
• Obtain multiple quotes to ensure best price for shipment
• Handle any damaged freight claims for items
• Assist with getting canceled items returned to the factory
• Prepare all close out documents for jobs nearing completion
• Prepare warranty information and serial #’s for all equipment supplied
• Schedule all start up’s and demonstrations for equipment
• Other functions as needed
Requirements:
• Excellent follow-up and phone skills
• Proficient in Microsoft programs, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong relationship building skills with customers, manufacturers, co-workers, and vendors
