POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist will drive both strategic and tactical responsibilities within the department.  This position will be responsible for supporting marketing managers, as well as leading projects independently.

Key responsibilities are included, but not limited to; writing and editing content, maintaining the content calendar, developing creative briefs based on objectives, overseeing all channel briefs to ensure they align to overall objectives, assisting in the Seasonal Planning process, and building relationships with key departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

             Project management and communication management across multiple teams around key projects, primarily focused on drive-up and mountain location marketing efforts.

•             Develop creative briefs based on customer insights and objectives of each campaign to be submitted to designers for creative execution.   Oversee all channel creative briefs to ensure consistency in message and creative throughout all marketing mediums.

•             Daily coordination, execution, proofing and communication of all media for in-house advertising and promotions department.

•             Assist in the Seasonal Planning process to ensure Marketing remains on track to deliver to key milestones. 

•             Coordinate the marketing team’s efforts for cross-functional weekly planning meeting, ensuring that agendas are established each week and that Marketing is prepared with key insights, upcoming campaign needs, creative proofs for review, etc.

•             Evaluate queue of work needing to be complete, and prioritize work based on larger goals.

•             Updates scheduling/budget tools based on overall direction, ensure adherence to budgets and proper ad placement and scheduling.

•             Responsible for tracking, reporting and determining insights on weekly/monthly promotions for each brand. Monitoring insights for marketing opportunities and strategy shifts across all regions.

•             Build relationships with key internal departments and corporate partners.

•             On site event activation as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•             Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field        

•             2-4 years in marketing.  Ability to articulate and champion best practices.

•             Experience problem solving with cross-functional stakeholders of varying levels within an organization

•             Experience with analytics and generating insights from data

•             HTML, Microsoft office, Omniture, Wordpress, Photoshop, Umbraco and various web browsers and social networks preferred.

•             English fluency

•             Strong communicator. Highly organized. Team Player. Creative. Good copy writer. Innovative thinker. Great customer service.

•             Experience problem solving with across stakeholders, explaining technical aspects in normal vernacular

•             Experience with analytics and generating insights from data

•             Experience prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently based on larger goals
