About this job

The purpose of the Compliance Analyst is to ensure that associates are complying with guidelines, management directives, and operational policies. The main focus of this role is to create, monitor, and address exception reporting to ensure consistency in process execution, data integrity, and loss mitigation. This role investigates issues to determine the root cause, makes suggestions to correct the problem, and communicates the changes needed to prevent recurrence. Other tasks completed by this role include providing feedback on interdepartmental adherence to policy and giving suggestions for improved execution and/or accuracy.

 

Duty or Responsibility

Develop and utilize routine queries to identify and initiate investigations of policy violations and/or opportunities for increased profitability

Create and implement standard auditing reports and procedures to identify systematic exceptions and process breaks

Research patterns of behavior indicating potential breaches of policy or fraudulent activity and provide any necessary feedback to various business owners

Collaborate with Business Process Analysts to support strategic initiatives and goals

Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance to various business owners

  • Ability toexplore information, data, and reports in order to identify issues and extract meaningful insights
  • ROI-focused and understands how the business works including key business drivers, important company strategies, competition, and financial data impacting the department/organization.
  • Connects business and system concepts to processes and functionalities in order to protect and improve the performance of the business
  • Possesses disciplined focus with balanced effort when working on multiple concurrent projects
  • Provides guidance and support in a manner that ensures interdepartmental collaboration
  • Communicates complex data and processes in a comprehensible way
  • Demonstrates a high level of reliability and tenacity for completing work in a thorough, timely, and complete manner
  • Independently identifies opportunities and takes positive, innovative action without being told to do so and follows through to completion
  • Navigates and learns new technology and computer programs in an intuitive manner with minimal training.
  • Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
  • Develops relationships with relevant internal departments to resolve issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Regularly interact with department heads to provide guidance on best practices for solving systematic issues and/or completing tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
  •  Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
