About this job

The position of Business Process Analyst facilitates the development of internal business processes both technical and practical. The main focus of this role is to provide support for development projects to ensure consistency in process execution and accuracy, including acquisition integration. This role researches systematic issues to determine the cause, submits tickets to correct the problem(s), and communicates process changes to the impacted parties. This role is also called upon to review interdepartmental processes and provide suggestions for increased ease of use, accuracy, and/or efficiency.

Duty or Responsibility

Work with the business to evaluate, identify, and document process needs

Work as a liaison between the business and development teams to ensure processes meet documented requirements, including system testing

Identify, report, and follow up on bugs, data fixes, and other tickets within JIRA system

Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes to ensure understanding and adoption

Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance

Additional duties as assigned.

 

  • Excels at synthesizing information from multiple resources across the company to determine the best course of action within established business best practices
  • Excels in strategic thinking, financial analysis, strategy development, and balanced decision making
  • Ability to manage projects from beginning to end with limited supervision and direction
  • Possesses disciplined focus with balanced effort when working on multiple concurrent projects
  • Provides guidance and support in a manner that ensures interdepartmental collaboration
  • Communicates complex data and processes in a comprehensible way
  • Navigates and learns new technology and computer programs in an intuitive manner with minimal training
  • Demonstrates a high level of reliability and tenacity for completing work in a thorough, timely, and complete manner.
  • Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.Develops relationships with relevant internal departments to resolve issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Regularly interact with department heads to provide guidance on best practices for solving systematic issues and/or completing tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
