Mechanical Assembler

PrideStaff is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a Temporary to Hire position with a great company located in Zelienople. This individual will work a daylight shift and be compensated $14 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Read blueprints and flow schematics.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with co-workers and properly represent the company during installations.

REASONING ABILITY

Good deductive reasoning skills applied to cause and effect of mechanical and electrical functions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, stoop and bend frequently.
