Automation Personnel Services is looking for 50+ Order Fillers in Robert, LA to start immediately for a National Supply Chain Distribution Center! Fantastic opportunity with room for growth! Great benefits package and other incentives!
Job Description and Responsibilities
Responsible for filling store orders manually by pulling merchandise using electronic voice control equipment
Transporting inventory to various locations by operating Power equipment (i.E. Electric Pallet Jack)
Stacking Orders onto pallets and placing labels onto designated area on freight
Organize warehouse by removing and stacking empty pallets
Maintain freight integrity by inspecting freight for damage and mis-placement (i.E. "strays )
Monitoring temperature and integrity of food items by separating freight using plastic sheets, (e.G. Species, chemical), and maintaining records, logs and forms
Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
Must meet Physical Lifting Requirements of 60lbs.- 100lbs.
Capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
Maintain a positive attitude and pleasant personality
Good hand-eye coordination and dependable with a strong willingness to learn
Compensation: Starting rate is $15.00 per hour with incentives based on shift time, shift day and warehouse area. Additional Incentive Bonus for meeting Production Goals
Paid Training is administered in first week of orientation
Hours: 33-40-hour work weeks
Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 3: 00pm-1: 30am OR 4: 00am-2: 30pm
Saturday, Sunday and Monday; 3: 00pm-2: 30am OR 4: 00am-2: 30pm
Temp to Hire Assignments
