Catering Coordinator - Mon thru Fri lunches - Full-time

CATERING COORDINATOR - This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and professional individual has some experience in fast-casual dining and catering and who is interested in learning about corporate catering and restaurant management.  Hours are Monday-Friday day time (rarely a weekend) and will vary between 35-40 per week. There are some weeks that we have several breakfasts and require an early start. Most days are finished between 4-5pm.

We work within a team to ensure the client's needs are meet and the work is completed efficiently. Typical duties include working with clients, taking orders, pulling dry goods, assembling dessert trays, organizing and restocking catering products, making deliveries and following up with clients. You may also be apart of an off premise team for larger events.

Starting hourly wage is up to $14, plus tips from the deliveries you are assigned. We offer medical benefits to team members who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Candidates MUST have the following:

1. A reliable car every day
2. Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

6. High-level of organization and ability to multi-task
7. Punctual (if you are not 5 minutes early you are late!)
8. Quick learner and able to retain a lot of information
9. Strong oral and written communication skills
10. Able to work in a small team
11. Able to lift 50 lbs

Specific Job Requirements:

• Ability to learn and use a KDS (Kitchen Display System).
• Ability to learn and use all equipment necessary to perform specific job requirements.
• Ability to work within all physical requirements of the position which include but are not limited to: walking and standing during an entire shift, reaching, bending, carrying, stooping, wiping, lifting and emptying trashcans, ability to climb ladders, and ability to move or handle up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge and practice of all safety expectations throughout the restaurant.
• All positions may come in contact with a variety of foods, which could include: peanut oils, seafood (tuna), nuts, and dairy.
• All positions may have frequent contact/immersion of hands with water, sanitation solutions, and cleaning products.

Ability to effectively verbally communicate and read product labels, menus, and order tickets in English. We do have training materials in English and Spanish.
