Banquet Server - Part-time

Do you have a passion for hospitality? We are currently seeking dedicated, professional servers to work at private events in the Phoenix Metro area. We serve high-profile clients and are looking only for the best. This is a seasonal, part-time gig, but it could grow into MUCH MORE for the right candidate(s).

So what are the key components of being a great server?

Presentation and reliability is a crucial component of the hospitality industry; an ideal candidate is well-groomed and understands the importance of good hygiene and accountability.

An ideal candidate is polite and friendly--even in incredibly difficult situations. Serving isn't an easy job--you need to be able to deal with a myriad of personalities and stressful situations WITH A SMILE.

An ideal candidate will have at least one year of banquet serving experience, however if you “fit the part,” we are willing to train.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Setting up, running and breakdown of events from small business meetings with minimal food to large groups with full meals; setting up tables, chairs, bars, and AV equipment.

-Serving fine dining plated events as well as buffet-style banquets; waiting on guests, refilling beverages, handling special requests and general table manicuring.

-Show dedication and professionalism in attending to customer needs and maintaining good hospitality customer relations.

-You must be 18 or older to apply

-You must have reliable transportation

-You must have a personal standard for EXCELLENCE

-You must genuinely understand the meaning of the word HOSPITALITY--and enjoy imparting it to others
