Mechanical Assembly

Enjoy a 3 day weekend by working 4 10 hour days in this manufacturing facility. This company is very employee oriented and is looking for leaders!    Take a glimpse at the duties of a Mechanical Assembler/Builder.

 

Responsibilities:

You will perform bench or line assembly operations to produce refrigeration products such as dehumidifiers and heat pumps by performing the following duties:

 

                    Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, plans, diagrams and work instructions.

                    Places parts in specified relationship to each other.

                    Adheres to manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.

                    Performs a variety of assembly operations to assemble intricate units involving a considerable number of parts.

                    Works on a line where tasks vary from model to model.

                    Prepares sub-assemblies for units or maintains production inventory of sub-assembled parts.

                    Performs quality checks on finished sub-assemblies at certain points throughout the operation.

                    Assembles electrical sub-assemblies such as harnesses, solenoid coils and electrical boxes.

                    Evacuates, charges, and leak checks refrigeration systems.

                    Performs point-to-point wiring of components in units on either standard of custom applications.

                    Finishes assembly of each unit to include quality of checks, documenting, labeling, cleaning and crating.

                    Works at different work stations as production requires.

 

 

Requirements include:

                    Excellent Attendance point system enforced

                    Previous experience building equipment

                    Able to read blueprints

                    Experienced with using hand tools

                    Must be able to read a ruler accurately, along with general shop math

                    Looking for candidates interested in long-term opportunities with a fast growing company

 

Hours, Pay, Benefits:

                    Hours Monday Thursday; 4 am 6 pm;  overtime available on Friday or Saturday for a 5 hour shift (5 am 10 am)

                    Pays up to $14/hr. to start based on experience
