The Rail Load Out position involves various tasks associated with the preparation and staging of rail cars for the purpose of loading aggregate material sales.

The Rail Load Out position involves various tasks associated with the preparation and staging of rail cars for the purpose of loading aggregate material sales.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform work associated with railroad activity to the highest Safety standards that will insure daily tasks are finished without compromise to personal or team safety goals
- Clean material from cars that are being returned
- Moving rail cars with a locomotive into position for loading
- Will check and close rail car doors to insure loaded material remains securely in place for long distance transportation
- Check material being loaded for quality
- Must be able to retrieve and write car numbers down accurately
- Will shovel material and assist in quarry where needed to include providing mechanical assistance with general plant maintenance.
- Use computer software as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and a Non FRA Certification
- Must have a minimum of 2 years railroad experience
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate work with other internal employees.
- Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
