About this job
As a designer, you will assist customers in creating unique designs for home decorating, educating customers on how to make simple hand-tied bouquets and arrangements in addition to planning and executing special events
What will I do?
- Provide expert knowledge to customers; create an environment that emulates a florist store; help customers learn about floral design while helping them with event preparation
- Lead and conduct live demonstrations and design classes including education around how to properly care for purchases at home
- Appeal to unique customer base; offer innovative and cutting-edge arrangements
- Ensure proper techniques and handling of products; understand fragile nature of flowers and plants
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years design experience in a retail florist shop or similar
