Automation Personnel Services is now hiring for an Order Selector for our client, PIGGLY WIGGLY in Bessemer, AL.
This is a very physical labor job.
The successful candidate must pull approximately 1600 cases per shift while operating an electric pallet jack.
The groceries are stacked on the pallet, wrapped, and taken to the appropriate dock for loading.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Over your head. Selector will be placed in grocery, produce, or freezer department.
Temperatures range from -20 degrees to 55 degrees in the freezer/produce areas.
Freezer selectors are provided freezer suits and boots.
Shift times start at 2pm or 3pm depending on department.
All new selectors will work weekends and holidays.
ONLY ONE ABSENCE ALLOWED IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS!
DRUG TEST REQUIRED!
After successful completion of 30 days, pay goes to $15. After successful completion of 60 days, pay goes to $17 per hour. After 90 days, selectors may be directly hired and pay may increase to at $19.49. There is routine and mandatory overtime with this position.
