Best Buy Seasonal Sales Generalists assist in selling a variety of products and services, working closely with other members of the sales, operations and inventory team during this fast-paced and busy holiday season. You will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, managers and other store employees to deliver the highest quality of service necessary for our customers to realize a gift giving season of their dreams. You will be recommending total solutions (products with complementing accessories) for all product categories including Home Theater, Appliances, Mobile Phones, Digital Cameras, Car Electronics, Fitness/Wellness, computers/tablets, movies, games and much more. You will receive hours of comprehensive training while having fun learning about the latest and greatest technology product and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all visitors to our stores
- Share your knowledge by recommending the latest and greatest products & services to meet the known and unknown needs of our customers
- Applies the appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and self-development to enable an excellent customer shopping experience in your assigned store
- Uses training tools to stay current on new/promotional products & services
- Maintains specified department/area's merchandising and readiness to serve customers
- Assists and completes customer purchase transactions
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of holidays, nights and weekends
