We are hiring in Sterling, VA for an architecture firm focused on government, corporate office and warehouse design projects. They have aggressively been bidding on work and have major projects that were recently awarded, and need to hire staff to meet the demand.
Job Description:
Candidate will receive layout, elevation or design from senior managers, and be tasked with taking this design through construction document phase, creating AutoCAD CD's from designs for pre-cast concrete/steel ground-up construction projects (industrial / flex-warehouse buildings). The managers will give the employee existing pre-cast concrete & steel designs that employee can use to closely mimic, so the employee will have existing CD's to model new plans from. Principals will receive these CD's and redline them, which the employee will then be tasked with correcting in AutoCAD. These CD's should be in line with ADA, IBC, ICC codes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Architecture OR 4+ Years of professional architectural CAD experience
- Experience creating construction documents for commercial new construction buildings
- Experience & Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
+Experience working with SCIFs is a plus
+Experience working with Revit is a plus
