Aerotek is currently looking to hire multiple mixing and blending technicians in the Belcamp/Abingdon area. We have a wide range of openings from entry level to managerial roles. All candidates must have forklift experience (1 + years). Experience working as a compounder/mixer/blender is a plus. Positions have the opportunity to go permanent. Work hours are Monday-Friday.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a HS degree with solid attention to detail and ability to learn unique processes that are very detail specific
- 3-5 years of Compounding/Blending experience with a couple years in a lead/supervisor role. - Previous experience in Compounding is a huge plus
- Previous experience in GMP environment is a huge plus
- Previous experience in laboratory is okay as well as long as they know its a Compounding role
Job Duties:
- Operation of compounding eqiupment, including distillation of target compounds and batches from specified raw materials
- Operation of equipment, including temperature checking and completion of batch records per GMP and SOPs
- Complete calculations as required
- Perform product inspection and provide samples for quality control testing
- Recording of various data points as required
- Works within the sample lab combining and pulling samples for clients
- The company makes various citrus (orange, lemon, lime, etc.) flavors in the forms of essences, emulsions, extractions, sprays, etc.
