Position Summary:

Complete a semester program in the company’s headquarters by working with managers to gain an understanding of the Environmental Compliance group in the Ethics and Compliance department. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Essential Job Functions:

• Apply theoretical concepts that have been learned in the classroom to hands-on work assignments
• Collaborate with all business sections of the Ethics and Compliance department and other corporate groups
• Assist the Environmental Compliance team with daily tasks and gain an understanding of the responsibilities and work done in the department
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business reporting functions
• Support the team’s projects
• Participate in department meetings
• Complete specific assignments
• Complete a cumulative project (summary of accomplishments) and present it to the executive team and appropriate managers
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, environmental management or a related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in major
• Proven financial and statistical data analysis skills
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in all other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to preserve confidential information
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service skills

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Experience in a professional work environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities between school, work or extra-curricular activities
• Involvement in high school or college leadership and community activities
