JOB TITLE: Furniture Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Busy and growing National Manufactured Housing Dealer has an immediate need for a Furniture Sales Representative. The successful candidate will have Sales Experience and be required to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as well as provide exceptional service throughout the sales process. You must be professional, driven, and dependable.
Future hours may increase as sales volume increases.
Sales employees will receive a base pay + commissions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§ Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
§ Assist customers throughout the sales process with selecting and purchasing merchandise in our showroom.
§ Provides knowledge regarding showroom products to customers on request.
§ Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
§ Emphasizes sales features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares paperwork for orders obtained.
§ Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on delivery schedules.
§ Maintain records related to sales.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
§ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
§ 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
§ Have excellent sales skills.
§ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
§ Have basic computer skills.
§ Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
§ Be enthusiastic, motivated, and professional.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
$24,000 Annual Base Salary
10% Commission on the final selling price of any item, not including taxes or delivery charges.
