The Staffing Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGiversSM in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Negotiate availability and shift assignments with CAREGivers.
  • Follow up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved.
  • Monitor service hours of CAREGivers to limit overtime
  • Hold CAREGivers accountable for meeting expectations of assignments, including hours worked, and taking additional shifts.
  • Follow up and communicate CAREGiver and client issues to ensure problems are resolved. 
  • Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality care.
  • Interview potential new CAREGivers.
  • Run background checks for new hires.
  • Assemble and maintain necessary new hire paperwork for CAREGivers
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Participate as needed in all CAREGiver meetings
  • Perform any and all other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
  • One year of staffing experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Previous senior care experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to successfully navigate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, caring demeanor
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
