Job Summary:
Looking for an individual with clinical research or nursing related experience to assist a research site patient enrollment and recruitment through community outreach and education for a NASH clinical trial. This individual will act as the Clinical Research Enrollment Assistant and will be responsible for educating medical professionals and networking within the San Francisco, CA community for patient referrals. He or she will be responsible for spreading study awareness and find potentially eligible patients for study. This individual will screen and educate patients to see if the possible patients align with the criteria. The Clinical Research Enrollment Assistant must be comfortable with patient education and educating medical professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update multiple online portals daily to track locations and metrics
* Community Outreach
o Connect with Community Members and Professionals to generate referrals and raise awareness of the study
* Patient recruitment
o Educating medical professionals
o Speaking about clinical trial and patient background
* Spread study awareness
Visit local clinics and centers to supply study materials
* Educating patients
* Screening patients against study patient criteria
* Data entry of key information regarding each candidate screened
* Other administrative duties as assigned
o Must be innovative and take initiative to develop new ideas to reach patients
Hours
This is a part-time flexible position 20-32 hours a week
