About this job
We are looking for a Shift Lead to provide direct support to all areas of the restaurant.
The Shift Lead supports the team in the overall operation of the restaurant with focus on people, sales and profit.
The Shift Lead must be a role model for the vision, standards and the Brand.
Duties may include but not limited to: ensuring high food quality standards, an exceptional level of Guest Service, restaurant cleanliness and employee productivity. Reports and corrects any discrepancies in these standards or violations of company procedures, State, or Federal laws
People
● Oversee standards of the restaurant. All duty’s that affect sales including Guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, moral, and exceptional service standards.
● Follow and enforce cash-handling policies and safety guidelines on assigned shifts.
● Ensure quality team member service throughout the shift. Assist with managing labor according to sales volume.
● Ensure that all product guidelines are followed at all times.
● Responsible for knowing Manager and team goals and assisting team to accomplish these. Identify any concerns and report them the appropriate representative.
Sales
• Oversee the environment in the store, identify any opportunity to enhance the Guest experience, and follow through in resolving these.
• Interact with guests to illicit feedback, whether positive, or negative. Work with the management team to resolve possible gaps and achieve higher sales.
• Assist the management with the execution of catering orders.
• Be a role model in embracing change
Profit
• Report, on Landport, any equipment needs and malfunctions.
• Ensure cash procedures are followed 100%..
• At direction of management team, assist with tasks and documentation requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and other state, federal and local laws.
• Ensure that all procedures are in place and followed to ensure lowest food cost, in conjunction with quality product.
• Work with Management team to adjust labor. Actively maintain accurate staffing for sales.
Requirements:
• Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promotes a harassment-free environment
• Able to work in a team environment at all times.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Ability to deal with frequent changes, or unexpected events.
• Takes pride in and recognizes the achievements of others.
• Valid food handlers card required
• Able to clearly and effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to display a cheerful and helpful attitude with guests and fellow team members.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Ability to be cross trained.
• High School diploma
