At Vail Resorts Hospitality, we affectionately refer to our housekeeping department and room attendants as the "heart of the house!" The Housekeeping Trainer will report to the Training Manager and work closely with the Area housekeeping managers to ensure all new and returning employees are trained to the standards as set by the department and company. After the initial training they will monitor and track the quality of cleaning and inspections while providing ongoing training and feedback as required. The ideal candidate will need to exhibit professionalism and the ability to mirror all standards. The trainer will need to be able to speak, read and write in English fluently and will also need to be able to train and communicate with employees whose first language is not English.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos - Required
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
  • Able to work holidays and weekends
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 30 pounds
  • Experience in training/teaching
  • Able to communicate in Spanish - Preferred
  • Driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle – Required
