Retail Systems Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Senior Director of IT, the Retail Point of Sale (POS) Systems Analyst is responsible for ownership of the core retail Point of Sale. Duties include being the in-house expert on all architecture, features, functions and processes for the POS system, working with key stakeholders on change management, lead and coordinate support for the organization, work directly with developer on system enhancements and changes. This is a non-supervisory position.

Responsibilities

Assists with analysis and design of processes, development and maintenance for the POS system

Works with developer and stakeholders to ensure business and technical requirements are met

Ensures updates and changes are tested and signed off by appropriate users

Plan and assist, alongside business users, rollouts of system changes and improvements

Creates and maintains documentation

Responsible for managing requests for changes and obtaining appropriate approvals

Provides store support as a subject matter expert alongside SME team

Escalate issues to developer as appropriate

Maintain issues log and track status with users and developer

Assist with Level 1 PC support as needed

Education:

Bachelors degree required

Experience:

3+ years working on systems in a retail environment

3+ years working with Point of Sale systems required

2+ years support related IT systems and environment

Other Requirements:

Must have a flexible schedule to support retail locations 7 days a week

Travel to be required, around 20% a year.
