We are growing! We have a brand new opportunity for a Regional Training Manager for the Central region. We are seeking someone who is Curious, Vibrant, Genuine, and of Service to supporting training and operations initiatives within the region which includes: new restaurant openings (NRO), manager and team member development programs, MIT (manager-in-training) training, Certified Trainer Program and roll outs. This Regional Training Manager is also responsible for acting as the liaison between the department and operations becoming an expert on all aspects of P.F Chang’s restaurant operations, training tools and programs.
What you will do:
Assists in writing, updating, and executing new training material in accordance with our P.F. Chang’s standards and culture
Validates in-restaurant training and provides timely feedback appropriately
Coordinates and assists with the training and implementation of new rollouts nationally and regionally
Effectively partners with Regional Vice Presidents and Market Partners to analyze operational and developmental opportunities and creates strategic, regional solutions that support the field leadership teams
Assists in National training through workshops/meetings and leads regional meetings using concept-approved programs to insure consistency across the country
Assists in enhancement of and execution of training plans for new P.F. Chang's restaurant opening training (NRO)
Collaborates with Market Partners in the development of management teams to ensure that the highest level of training and execution is delivered
What you need to have:
Minimum of 1 year of restaurant management experience required
Proven understanding and success in operations to include but not limited to excellence in operational execution, team and sales building
Very strong written, verbal and presentation skills required
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Extremely organized and skilled in prioritizing multiple projects
Self-disciplined, highly motivated and able to work independently
Displays the ability to identify problems and suggest solutions in accordance with quality operating standards
Working knowledge of all Microsoft applications to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Passion for people, P.F Chang’s culture and brand
Must be able to stand for long periods of time during restaurant visits and when supporting a new restaurant opening.
Must be able to work for extended periods of time, beyond the normal 9 hour work day.
Must be able to travel up to 85% of work schedule.
**Position may be based anywhere in the Central region. Colorado or Illinois is preferred.**
