How do we build and maintain our world class terrain parks? Join us and find out!  We are seeking experienced Terrain Park Attendants of all skill levels to join our team.

Job Duties:

Maintain and assist in constructing terrain park features, which includes hand shaping, shoveling, raking, setting up, breaking down, etc. Maintain fences and signage. Assist in preparing park for special events by erecting scaffolding, tents, placing banners, etc. Advise and assist guests through education and safety awareness. This is a very labor intensive position.

Additional Duties as assigned:

  • Perform ongoing maintenance of all terrain park features including raking, shaping, and snow removal.
  • Install and maintain park signage, branding, boundaries, and trash/recycling.
  • Monitor terrain park features by visual inspection and testing according to Vail Resorts policy.
  • Assist in the performance of all daily park opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain a presence in terrain parks providing excellent guest service.
  • Actively participate in guest education
  • Assist Ski Patrol with guest injuries whenever necessary.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, a desire to progress skills, and take advantage of all development opportunities.
  • Assist with training, mentoring and supervision of Entry Attendants.
  • Understand all company policy and internal protocols assist with compliance, identify and report concerns to Supervisor.
  • Understand and perform all daily park opening and closing procedures.
  • Actively mentor guest relations and education to entry level attendants according to company policy.
  • Assist Ski Patrol with guest injuries and contribute to compliance with all incident procedures.
  • Provide advice and assistance to the Lead/ Supervisor on daily operations, and perform all duties in their absence.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid US driver's license with an acceptable record
  • Able to pass a Level 8 Ski and Ride Test at Canyons
  • Maintain a flexible schedule for day and night shifts including weekends, holidays, etc
  • Work 10 hours a day outside in all weather conditions and at high elevations
  • Able to lift 100 lbs and walk up and down steep pitches.
  • Be an advanced or expert skier or snowboarder (capable of riding 75% of  Terrain Park Features)
  • Able to hand shape take offs, and work with variety of tools
  • Knowledge of Park City Mountain
  • Strong communication with other departments and work well as a team
  • Previous experience working in a Guest Relations and Terrain Park positions – preferred
  • Welding, construction or carpentry experience - Preferred
