About this job

This person will be responsible for purchasing industrial parts (steel, bolts, augers, motors, fasteners, gear boxes, etc.) to keep production moving. They will also purchase things such as weld gloves, gas for welding, etc. Another big piece of their job will be to plan and schedule.

They will be responsible for keeping inventory levels in check.

Qualifications:

-at least a year of purchasing in an industrial setting
- good communication skills
- ability to navigate on Excel - their purchasing log is on Excel


- MUST be able to read a tape measure
***REASON - a welder will walk into their office, hand them a bolt or an industrial drill bit (they will need to measure it, so they purchase the right part).

Work Environment: This is a warehouse setting, their office is included in the warehouse facility.

The warehouse is not climate controlled, but the office does have it's own A/C and heat.
