Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. As the Director of Patient Services you will serve as a key role for the organization by delivering quality care to patients, acting as an educator for the Home Instead team to improve efficiency with regards to patient services and overseeing compliance with NY State Department of Health regulations for a licensed home care agency.
Responsibilities:
&bull Oversee compliance with all state and federal regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to home health care services.
&bull Manage and evaluate the health services program to ensure quality of service and maintenance of state and agency policies and procedures.
&bull Perform consultative/supervisory home visits and assessments.
&bull Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, physicians, and other health care providers with regards to patient eligibility and suitability for home care services.
&bull Open new cases/ admission to Home Instead.
Qualifications:
&bull Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State with supervisory or management experience in a home health care setting.
&bull Experience as a registered nurse and experience in home health care.
&bull Possesses current driver's license and reliable automobile transportation.
