Quality Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Quality Technician for a leading manufacturer of highly specialized mechanical and electrical products in Anderson, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, candidates will be responsible for being on a team of quality techs on the metrology side of business. They will be primarily responsible for operating and calibrating the CMM and will need to work with PC-DMIS software. They will be reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T to make sure tolerances are met. They will need to manage the MRB (material review board) activity- containment, resolution, disposition, and will be updating PPAPs accordingly. All of the quality standards are under ISO/TS 9001:16949. Strong communication skills are necessary as they will be communicating with internal teams as well as customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience with CMM calibration and operation )PC-DMIS software)
• Ability to interpret GD&T, blueprints and metrology tools
• Management Review Board (MRB)
• Experience with containment, resolution and disposition
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• NICE TO HAVE: Bachelor or Associates Degree in a technical discipline
