Quality Technician

ENTRY LEVEL QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Responsible for quality audits, quality testing and performance testing of all products produced. Prevent bad quality from getting to the market place. Prevent bad quality from being produced internally during manufacturing. Identify, through visual inspection and analytical measurement testing, that products conform to raw material specifications, grade specifications, process specifications and customer requirements. Support the quality system control plan and quality manager in attaining and maintaining customer confidence related to the quality of products


 Follow quality system control plan requirements for assuring quality within the organization
 Daily audits of process related components
 Process and performance testing of manufactured products during production
 Authority to stop manufacturing production for a quality issue.
 Initiate and complete raw material rejection system activity
 Initiate and complete control of non-conforming product system activity
 Release incoming raw materials to manufacturing scheduler by verifying COA's or test samples conform to raw material specifications
 Assist quality manager in customer complaint investigation process and determine root cause identification for permanent corrective actions.
 Daily export of spreadsheet collected data to database application.

Duties will include visual inspections, testing solids of coatings, paper testing, viscosity testing, and paper moisture analysis
