Express Employment Professionals in Andover is hiring Production Workers/Assemblers for a major manufacturing company in Wilmington, MA. Full-time and Part-time positions are available – 6-hour and 12-hour shifts. The successful candidates must also be available to work on weekends.
Production Worker/Assembler - Job Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to perform the manual assembly of parts.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble parts into elements.
- Operate simple equipment and sophisticated PLC controlled equipment.
- Work in a safe manner follow safety standards
- Follow directions from supervisor and leaders
Production Worker/Assembler - Job Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and use basic math skills to perform manufacturing tasks.
- Ability to communicate in English
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Frequent lifting of materials and elements up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand on feet for an entire shift
- Ability to work in wet environment
- Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protector and safety toe work shoes
- Must be available to work on weekends
