PrideStaff is currently seeking NUMEROUS individuals for MACHINE OPERATOR positions in the University Park, IL area.
1st and 2nd shift available:
1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm M-F) - $11.50/hour
2nd shift (3:15pm-11:45pm M-F) - $12.50/hour
These positions are temp-to-hire, with insurance and OT available!

JOB DUTIES:
- Working in a Machine Shop surrounded by various machinery and a sometimes very dirty environment
- Operating various machinery such as PUNCH PRESS, DRILL PRESS, GRINDER, NOTCHER, and/or BRAKE PRESS
- Order pulling and fulfilling - constant heavy lifting and moving of sheets of metal
- Measuring metal to specs using a tape measure
- Operating a manual pallet jack
- Final Assembly and Shipping duties as needed
- AT LEAST 1 year of recent manufacturing/ machine shop experience
- STRONGLY PREFER previous experience with fabrication machines
- MUST be able to read a tape measure and have solid math skills
- MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift
- MUST be able to work OT when required (most OT is optional)
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and blueprints is a MAJOR PLUS!
