Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Home Instead Senior Care is looking for an individual that would love a career as a Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. We are a growing locally owned franchise that is in need of a Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to help us grow throughout Pinellas County. Objective:
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is expected to perform a variety of duties in coordination with our Recruitment and Retention Manager along with managing our front reception. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is expected to answer phones, complete administrative duties and support caregivers and other staff members with clerical tasks in order to provide the highest quality to our caregivers and clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reflect the core values of Care Central, Inc. and RK Healthcare, Inc, d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise.
- Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
- Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
- Field caregiver inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule pre-screening calls and interviews
- Assist with hiring process for new caregivers, duties may include fielding employment inquiries from prospective caregivers and moving applicants through the process.
- Process criminal background, Adult Protective Services and Department of Motor Vehicle checks
- Assist with making reference calls on prospective caregivers in a timely manner
- Support Human Resource team will all aspects of caregiver Engagement.
- Enter and maintain accurate client and caregiver records in the operating system
- Communicate client and caregiver concerns or problems with owner or other staff members as appropriate
- Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld
- Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with owner, colleagues and caregivers
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2-5 years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Must possess a valid driver's license, Level 2 Background Check and Drug Screening
- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by RK Healthcare, Inc., d.b.a. Home Instead Senior Care an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, caregivers and the community
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment
- Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word
- Must have the availability to work evenings or weekends as required
- Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
- Must have the ability to work as a part of a team
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
Pay & Benefits:
$11.00-$13.00 based on experience and qualifications
