Quality Technician

Seeking Quality Technician for contracted opportunity lasting 6+ months. Hourly wage ranges from $18/hr. to $25/hr.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in ISO 9000 or equivalent quality system
• Must have parts inspection with machined metal parts

Duties:

• Perform first piece, in-process, & final inspections to ensure parts are within print specifications
• Complete relevant reports (IE first article, work orders, Inspection logs and/or tracking sheets) as required
• Inspect, accept or reject new tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, castings, patterns, etc.
• Process customer returns; issue the necessary report recommending acceptability or rejection.
• Maintain all records pertinent to the quality function. Assist with the coordination of government or civilian contract documents, certifications and approvals.
• Comply with various ISO 9001:2008 operating procedures, work instructions, and QA Department activities.
