An electronic manufacturing company in Plano is needing an upper Quality Control Technician immediately.
The position is 1st shift and contract to hire.
You would be doing the following duties:
- Must be IPC-Certified or J-STD
- Open to working in a cleanroom environment
- Works closely with Assembly and Test Supervisors to address issues. Identifies training opportunities and communicates them to the supervisors.
- Reports part problems to the Quality Triage address.
- Performs audits throughout the Production area to ensure that operators are following Bills of Materials, Visual Aids and Work Instructions.
- Verifies all repairs are correctly documented and processed in PICK system.
- Ensures proper implementation of Engineering Change Notices.
- Inspects first article Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and properly documents defects.
- Writes and validates work instructions and visual aids in support of manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to follow processes and articulate them in written form.
