Position Purpose:


Maximize profitability and sales, maintain above standard account health / seller performance, and optimize account management for alternative sales channels, including but not limited to Amazon and EBAY. 


Essential Job Functions: 

The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation: 

  • Maintain marketplace profitability by working with CommerceHub to ensure proper catalog filters, ship template assignments, and etc. business rules in place. 
  • Continue assortment expansion with focus on profitability.
  • Resolve product mismatch resolution for marketplaces and be point of contact for Amazon, eBay and other necessary marketplace questions.
  • Maintain and optimize marketplace account health / performance by:
  • Monitoring account health dashboards and performance notifications daily.
  • Quickly identifying any issues with order fulfillment, customer service response, etc. and working with appropriate teams to ensure resolution in timely manner to prevent accounts from falling below standard and negatively impacting sales.
  • Includes but not limited to base level understanding of product feeds, order management, etc.
  • Maintain catalog filters and rules to ensure proper assortment / merchandising of each channel.
  • Work with Petco internal teams such as pricing to ideate, propose, and execute (with approval) price sensitivity, ship sensitivity, marketing campaigns, etc. testing of different content and selling strategies.
  • Build effective communication and/or reporting structure to communicate issue identification and resolution, account performance, optimization, test findings, etc. all things online marketplaces and CommerceHub managed feeds.
  • Act as main point of contact for CommerceHub, eBay, Amazon, etc. vendors in support of our marketplace business.
  • Maintaining, executing, documenting, and updating when necessary, all processes related to optimization of marketplaces, including those mentioned above. 

Supervisory Responsibility:


This position will not have direct reports, however the incumbent must be able to ensure omn-ichannel objectives are continuously met without the benefit of administrative authority by effectively engaging and/or influencing other associates.


Work Environment:


The majority of job duties are conducted while seated indoors at a computer terminal, with little or no exposure to hazards.



Education/Experience:


Associate’s degree preferably in business, merchandising, logistics, or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year professional Amazon account management for a business/professional seller; 3 years preferred.

Minimum 1 year professional relevant merchandising, supply chain, or retail experience required; 3 years preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams.

Strong interpersonal and judgment skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative required.
