Packers - Wet Products

First Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

$14 to $17 / hr DOE

Job Overview:

Down-pack liquid, paste, and powder products from bulk containers to finished goods unit containers. May also operate filling equipment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize and work independently
  • Fill out paperwork and reports neatly, accurately and completely.
  • Stand-up forklift experience preferred
  • Able to safely handle chemicals
  • Strive to learn new equipment
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for accurately complying with batch sheet pack out instructions
  • Able to select proper package without assistance after training
  • Operate capping/sealing machinery
  • Learn special labeling on containers when required, lot # stickers on bottom, shake / stir well sticker on container
  • Record supply shortages
  • Retrieve packaging materials of the correct size, style, and color container needed from the warehouse
  • Dispense product from drum or other container into smaller containers by weight or volume
  • May operate can filling machine
  • Document all required batch output information
