Operations Manager 2 - Full-time / Part-time

Directly accountable to manage and coordinate merchandise processing throughout the distribution network.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

MERCHANDISE PROCESSING

• Manage workflow of several departments in conjunction with individual department Supervisors to meet planned units per hour, cost per unit, level of service and accuracy standards

• Develop and administer short and long term operating budgets in conjunction with other distribution and corporate division staff

• Effectively manage staffing to meet UPH goals

• Provide strategy for workflow

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• Administer policies and procedures within assigned areas

• Work with other departments and divisions to resolve problems and ensure efficient service

• Maintain safety, housekeeping and maintenance standards

MANAGEMENT

• Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Kohl's policies and practices

• Prepares and analyze unit plans and reports

• Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area

• Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications

• Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans

OPERATIONS MANAGER 2 - E-FULFILLMENT CENTER

• 5-8 years E-Fullfilment Center experience

• Supervise Operations Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED

• 5-8 years of related experience including direct supervision experience in Distribution, Production/Operations Management, Warehouse Management or related field

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of Radio Frequency and automated distribution/warehouse management systems, Windows, Microsoft Office

• Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operation

• Bachelor's or advanced degree
